Philo Cramer as Lonny Carlysle (Vocal, Electric & Acoustic Guitars), John Clancy as Pipe & Mark
Question (Drums & Keys), Rick Duncan as Bat Lucky (Bass & Acoustic Guitars). Recorded in March, 2008
at Shawnee Sound. This song, written by Lonny, was part of the original set back in the 70's, but was
more of a slow ballad. For some reason, Pipe decided that is should have the drum part from Maggie Mae
for this reunion version. Ah well, at least it is finally on tape!

had just one lyric "while the sheep softly graze" or something like that. Clancy filled in the blanks,
and attempted the vocal.

The Cigarettes can trace their origins to sometime after the legendary
performance of "Lonny Carlysle and the Vampyre Smashers" in the mid 1970's,
which featured future Cigarette contributors Philo Cramer, John Clancy and
Danny Moyer on drums. The Vampyre Smashers included the Glam Hey Guys,
some Horror Blues, a sympathetic ballad called "Space Babies" and I think they
meant to open or close with the solemn Death's Choice, which could have, or
should have, sounded something like this

| NOTE: The Coup d'etat Lab Band was a
compositional project initiated between Rich Hunter & Philo Cramer in late
1976 to early 1977. The goal was to create new classic rock music, written to
showcase 2 lead guitar players in the same band. It was an excersize in
diplomacy that resulted in the creation and development of musical themes that
were eventually used by both Big Business and FEAR, being the subsequent
efforts of both guitarists featured elsewhere in this site. Recording
engineering by Clancy at Paradise Studios using a TEAC 3340-s.
